Working out is one of the best ways to stay in shape and improve your health. However, the main problem that comes from this is starting out. Yes, getting started is extremely difficult when you are already accustomed to a certain schedule. But that’s why you need to force yourself to exercise since it can give you tremendous health benefits. You do need to wonder, what type of workouts should you perform as an absolute beginner? Let’s find out.
If you’re a beginner, it’s important to avoid complex workouts or exercises. Push-Ups are great because anyone can do them. You will eventually get better at it, but with 20-30 Push-Ups per day you can start boosting your blood flow and you will feel a lot better.
Calf Raises are fun because you need to put your palms against the wall, rise on the toes, and then you go back. This type of exercise can really help you improve your fitness, and it’s not overly difficult either. Do around 20 reps, even more, if you can.
We like the High Knees workout because you just need to jog in place and then you try to lift every knee as high as possible. The more you do it, the more flexibility you will have. Plus, it will help prevent any soreness that comes from sitting at the office all day.
Trying out squats is great because they allow you to boost your natural flexibility. You will also find them a great workout for your abs too. Normally you should do 2 sets of 10 Squats each. But you can always add more since they are a great workout.
Planking usually involves the idea that you’re sitting immobile in a specific pose for as many seconds as you can. This helps work on your muscles, especially if you have sore muscles and you feel pain throughout the day. It can also be relaxing too.
Jumping Jacks involve raising your hands over your head and it’s the type of workout a lot of people like because it’s fun. It’s the type of cardio workout everyone does because it’s fun, liberating and it works on multiple muscles at the same time. You can also do some burpees; they are also great cardio workouts.
You need to try Crunches because they are incredibly helpful when it comes to removing abdominal fat. On top of that, they also help you stay in really good shape, they boost the blood flow naturally too. These are highly recommended in sets of 20. Aim for 3-4 sets if possible.
Starting your own workout routine is never easy. It will feel difficult, but with the right training, you will eventually make it work. Obviously, it all comes down to preparing yourself and working hard to achieve all those much-revered goals. It will take time to define a good workout routine as a beginner. That’s why you want to try out a variety of different workouts and see what you like. It will help you define your routine and establish a great workout experience!
